Fifth Season Landscapes are looking for a Landscape Architect/Designer to come on board as the Design Manager. This is a client facing role and a chance to be instrumental in the design direction for the company.
Our North Shore based office boasts an inclusive and collaborative working environment, ensuring all team members opinions are valued. At Fifth Season Landscape we design and build creative and challenging residential landscaping projects.
THE ROLE:
Fifth Season Landscapes are looking for a Landscape Architect/Designer to operate as the Design Manager with 8+ years experience.
This is your opportunity to work directly in a design and construction company and lead a team of Designers. You’ll work very closely with the two company Directors.
You will need to be creative, enthusiastic and focused with attention to detail and great at time management.
You will require great communication & organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. You will also require the skills to run the design team delivering outstanding design work, while achieving financial & timeline expectations.
This is a full time role, with the salary to be determined based on the successful applicants skills and experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Relevant tertiary qualification/s in Landscape Architecture / Landscape Design with 8+ years experience.
• Creativity, enthusiasm and focus with attention to detail
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• The ability to manage a team
• Good communication & organisational skills
• Skills in sketch design and detail drafting
• Skills in Vectorworks is essential
• Skills in Google SketchUp
• In-depth understanding of structural landscape elements & budgeting
• Strong plant knowledge
