President & Sponsorship Director
Andrew is a Registered Landscape Architect and runs the award-winning Define Landscape Architecture based in Brisbane. He joined the Board in 2018 and after leading AILDM's rebranding to LDI and was appointed President in 2022. Andrew is passionate about growing the industry and representing members' needs to government and liaising with allied industries groups.
Jodi co-founded The Lemon Tree Project in 2012. She was appointed to the Hume City Council's Sustainability Taskforce in 2012 where she served as a resident member until her election to the Council in 2016.
Rado is a Sydney based landscape designer. As a founder of Gardenism, Rado blends his background in engineering with landscape design, gravitating towards technical aspects of the profession such as documentation. Additionally, his accounting experience & prior support of not-for-profit organisations provides him with valuable skills that benefit LDI's operations.
Vanessa is a Landscape Designer and owner of We Dream of Gardens, a Sydney-based landscape design business. Vanessa was elected to the Board in 2019.
Vanessa has created a variety of events for LDI members, adapting to online events during the pandemic. With a background in marketing Vanessa is passionate about continuing to improve LDI for all stakeholders and increasing member benefits. She also enjoys creating opportunities and collaborations with other organisations.
Josh Arkey is an accomplished landscape designer and the Principal Designer at JALA Studio, where his creativity and expertise converge to transform landscape spaces into enduring & evolving living works of art.
Josh strives to elevate members benefits for LDI by implementing innovative strategies that enhance professional development, foster meaningful connections, and provide useful resources, ensuring a more rewarding experience for members and the industry in general.
Kylie is Lead Landscaper Designer and Director at the Perth based design studio Garden Insight, and our first WA Director elected to the board in December 2023.
She has been a WALDA Board Member for 3 years and is keen to advocate for LDI's growing WA membership, to help build the landscape design community locally, and to strengthen connections through collaboration with our industry nationally.
Nicola founded Pepo Botanic Design in 2000, where she is currently the director and works as a landscape designer. Nicola is passionate about teamwork, ensuring her business engages passionate and skilled landscape designers.
Nicola is keen to assist fellow LDI members in developing business and design systems
that inspire and add value to their input. She also aims to research, discuss and share ways to create more environmentally conscious & holistic landscape designs. Nicola believes that the industry has a crucial and exciting role to play in the future of our environment.
Riley is a qualified landscape designer and horticulturalist with over 10 years' experience in the industry and has recently started his own business designing creative, inspired and plant-focused gardens. Passionate about education in the industry and has been teaching the Diploma of Landscape Design for the past few years. Riley aims to assist the growth of LDI in supporting students and graduates enter the profession, as well as representing the LDI at industry events.
Courtney is a dedicated highly experienced virtual executive and P.A. based in Rockhampton, Qld. Having joined the team in 2024, she brings a wealth of experience from both the private and public sector from where she assisted senior & executive leaders. Courtney has a passion to support others as they strive to deliver quality outcomes to members and stakeholders. Her role as Administrator of LDI's business across Australia will focus on assisting the Board as well as Members and industry stakeholders.
Adam Robinson ofAdam Robinson Design is the first ever LDI Brand Ambassador.
Adam is a leading landscape designer and studio director of ARD based in Sydney. He loves to collaborate with other designers and organisations to develop products and solutions that enhance the lifestyle aspect of outdoor spaces.
