Join certified business coach and experienced designer Deb McNee for a practical demonstration of how AI can support the early stages of the client journey – from that first enquiry through to a paid consultation and proposal.
Following a realistic landscape design scenario, Deb will demonstrate how AI can be used to help qualify new enquiries, prepare for discovery calls, improve client follow-up and reduce repetitive administration – freeing up more time for the work that requires your expertise.
The session will explore specific applications within a designer’s everyday workflow, with practical prompts and simple automation ideas that you can begin testing in your own business straight away.

The session will follow the client journey from initial enquiry → qualification → discovery call → consultation → proposal, exploring opportunities to use AI along the way to:
- assess and respond to new enquiries more efficiently
- prepare for more focused and productive discovery calls

- reduce repetitive tasks through simple AI-assisted processes and automation

Who is it for?
This session is suitable for both emerging and established landscape designers. No previous AI experience is required.
The presentation will run for approximately 45 minutes, followed by an opportunity for Q&A and discussion via Microsoft Teams.

About our presenter
Deb McNee is the founder of Design Coach Grow and Midas Touch Design.
A qualified landscape designer and former LDI Board member, Deb has worked in business coaching and consulting since 2007 and spent 12 years running her own residential design practice. Deb combines her residential build and design industry experience with expertise in finance, operations, leadership and business growth.
Deb holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in horticulture and forestry marketing, with extensive training in life and business coaching.
