Step 2
Choose the type of Membership that suits your needs
Step 3
Fill in the online application questions. If you are applying for professional membership you will need to attach copies of your qualifications and upload copies of the documents for 3 landscape projects prepared by you.
Please refer to the 'Assessment Criteria' page for guidance on what documents you need to submit and how they will be assessed.
Step 4
Once you've submitted this form, pay your Application Fee online.
Step 5
We will let you know the outcome once the LDI National Council has assessed your application.
LDI retains the right to accept or reject an application. An applicant may be advised that a different category of membership is appropriate for their level of skill or experience. Please allow up to 4 weeks for assessment, and we will let you know if we need any additional documentation to support your application we will contact you.
As a new member you will pay the Annual Subscription Fee on a pro-rata basis at date of acceptance.
Upgrade your Student Membership
If you have completed your course and currently hold student membership you must apply for a membership upgrade. There is no application fee for an upgrade application. You will need to submit a membership upgrade form with copies of your qualifications.
To upgrade your Student Membership please login as a LDI member.
Lapsed Membership
If your membership has lapsed for 2 years or more please submit a new member application form. You do not need your membership number as this will be on LDI’s records.
