All new memberships are billed the annual Membership Fee on a pro-rata basis at date of acceptance (except students).

For Students: When you are accepted as a student member you will be invoiced for membership for that Calendar year (Jan 01-Dec 31 aligns with student year). Upon successful graduation from your studies in a Landscape Design course, you can then apply for membership in either LDI Member or LDI Professional Member categories. Your membership will lapse if not applying within 6 months after graduating. 

LDI Registered Landscape Designer (RLD) - to be eligible for consideration you must already hold an LDI Professional Member (PLD) level membership. Applications for RLD membership are called for in March & September each year (process taking up to 6 weeks).

Upon successful approval of this application, your RLD membership will be granted with immediate effect with your next invoice at the new RLD level issued at the start of the coming financial year (for March intake) or on a pro-rata basis (for September intake). 

The annual Membership Fee will then be due on July 01 for each new financial year (annual membership period July 01-June 30). Member logos will be sent through earlier if payments are made before July 01.
